http://forums.devx.com/archive/index.php/t-23924.html:The OLE DB provider that ships with Client Access is version 1.x (IBM AS400
OLE DB Provider), and won't work. Create a system DSN ODBC connection (on
the SQL Server). Client Access must be installed on the same machine as the
SQL Server to make it work.
Create a Linked server, select 'Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers'.
Write the name of the system DSN in the Data source text box.
Select the Security tab, and enter the user id and the password to login
with.
Here is the syntax I'm using when a querying a table:
SELECT * FROM MVXODBC.MOVEX.MVX9DTA.CCURRA
WHERE UCRTP = 1
The first member is the name of the System DSN (MVXODBC).
The second is the Root directory (I think).
The third is the directory where the table is located.
The forth is the name of the table (CCURRA).
Hope this will help..
