HP 6200C Scanner

Problemer vedr. USB tilslutning:

Jeg har en 6200C scanner som giver problemer, 1. Jeg indlæser software 2. jeg tilslutter USB , men intet sker, når jeg tjekker i system, er den ikke tilsluttet, og den kan ikke finde den i \"tilføj hardware\"

Har du aktiveret USB i din BIOS?

USB-support kan være deaktiveret i BIOS.

This issue could be caused by a loose cable connection. To fix it, do the following:

Shut down the computer.
Unplug the HP ScanJet scanner from the power.
Disconnect the scanner cable (from both the computer and the scanner) then reconnect it on both ends.
Reconnect the power cable.
Start your computer.
Windows should report \"New Hardware Found,\" follow the directions on the screen to install the drivers.
If the HP ScanJet scanner is connected with the USB cable and Windows still does not detect the scanner, a bad USB cable may be the cause of the problem. Try using a different USB cable from another USB device to verify it (the cables should be interchangeable). You can also try attaching the HP ScanJet scanner to another PC; the software and drivers do not need to be installed. Shut down the computer, plug the scanner into the PC, and plug in the scanner power cord. Then turn on the PC and see if the HP ScanJet scanner is detected.

HP Precisionscan Pro 1.0 Error Message - \"Sorry, Scanner Not Found; Scanner Not Initialized\" 

ISSUE: The HP Scanjet 6200C series scanner passes the scanner test and the HP Scanjet Copy Utility also works, however \"Sorry No Scanner Found, Scanner Not Initialized\" appears while opening HP Precisionscan Pro.

SOLUTION: Files HPIE.REG, HPSCNLI.REG and HPSCNSVR.REG are missing from the registry. Find the files and add them to the registry as follows or reinstall the scanning software:

Find the file Regedit.exe and verify that it is located in the C:\\WINDOWS folder and is version 4.0 or higher.

Verify location of REGEDIT.EXE
Click Start, click Find, click Files or Folders.
In the Named box, type \"regedit.exe\".
Click Find Now.
If the file is not in the C:\\WINDOWS folder, move it there.
NOTE: If regedit cannot be found on the C: drive, contact the PC vendor or Microsoft (R) for help with installing the file.

Verify the file regedit is v 4.0 or above.
Right-click regedit.exe
Click Properties
Click tab labeled Version
NOTE: If your computer contains an earlier version, replace it with v 4.0 copied from a different computer or operating system installation cd. It is possible that an older version of this file was left over from a Windows upgrade.

Find files HPIE.REG, HPSCNLI.REG and HPSCNSVR.REG, then add them to the registry as follows:
files are originally installed with the HP Precisionscan Pro 1.x scanning software. If you are unable to find one or more of the files make sure you are using Precisionscan Pro 1.x and your scanner is a HP Scanjet 6200c series, if this is correct you will need to reinstall the scanning software).
Click Start, click Find, and click Files or Folders.
In the Named box, type \"hpie.reg\"
Click Find Now.
Double-click the file \"hpie.reg\"
The following message should appear:
Information in C:\\SCANJET\\PRECIS~1\\HPIE.REG has been successfully entered into the registry.
Click OK.
NOTE: Repeat steps A-F for the following files: HPSCNCLI.REG and HPSCNSVR.REG.

Click Start, Shut Down, and Restart.
