Kalender
WEEKDAY See Also
Returns the day of the week corresponding to a date. The day is given as an integer, ranging from 1 (Sunday) to 7 (Saturday), by default.
Syntax
WEEKDAY(serial_number,return_type)
Serial_number is a sequential number that represents the date of the day you are trying to find. Dates may be entered as text strings within quotation marks (for example, \"1/30/1998\" or \"1998/01/30\"), as serial numbers (for example, 35825, which represents January 30, 1998, if you\'re using the 1900 date system), or as results of other formulas or functions (for example, DATEVALUE(\"1/30/1998\")). For more information about how Microsoft Excel uses serial numbers for dates, see the Remarks section.
Return_type is a number that determines the type of return value.
Return_type Number returned 1 or omitted Numbers 1 (Sunday) through 7 (Saturday). Behaves like previous versions of Microsoft Excel. 2 Numbers 1 (Monday) through 7 (Sunday). 3 Numbers 0 (Monday) through 6 (Sunday).
Remarks
Excel stores dates as sequential serial numbers so that it can perform calculations on them. Excel stores January 1, 1900, as serial number 1 if your workbook uses the 1900 date system. If your workbook uses the 1904 date system, Excel stores January 1, 1904, as serial number 0 (January 2, 1904, is serial number 1). For example, in the 1900 date system, Excel stores January 1, 1998, as serial number 35796 because it is 35,795 days after January 1, 1900. Learn more about how Microsoft Excel stores dates and times.
Microsoft Excel for Windows and Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh use different date systems as their default. For more information, see NOW.
You can also use the TEXT function to convert a value to a specified number format: TEXT(\"4/16/1998\", \"dddd\") equals Thursday
Examples
WEEKDAY(\"2/14/1998\") equals 7 (Saturday)
WEEKDAY(\"2/14/1998\",2) equals 6 (Saturday)
WEEKDAY(\"2003/02/23\",3) equals 6 (Sunday)
If you are using the 1900 date system (the default in Microsoft Excel for Windows), then:
WEEKDAY(35981.007) equals 1 (Sunday)
If you are using the 1904 date system (the default in Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh), then:
Kalenderen er lavet sådan, at man ved at taste f.eks. 1-09-01, viser hele september måned. jeg vil gerne kunne skjule de rækker der indeholder Lørdag & søndag, uanset hvilken måned man taster ind.
