This is pretty interesting times in Denmark as politicians struggle with a final decision on how to implement the use of Open Standards in the public sector.
"ODF, OpenXML or both?" is the question as Microsoft confronts competitors from the Open Source camp.
My personal share of format juggling started when I interviewed Simon Phipps evangelist from Sun Microsystems back at JavaOne in San francisco in May.
The reult was this podcast where he characterized Microsoft as being a bully.
Microsoft appearently listened in. Stephen McGibbon, Regional Technology Officer for Western Europe kindly delivered a trans script of our podcast.
Then came an eloquent exchange of opinions between Mssrs Phipps and McGibbon.
