Betale sig at udskifte RAM bærbar?
Hej med jer. Har læst om udskiftning af RAM til bærbare. Vil bare lige være helt sikker på, at det ikke kan betale sig :-)
Mine to drenge har henholdsvis Pavilion DV6205 m. 4.00 GB RAM og Pavilion Dual-Core m. 4.00 GB RAM. De er mere end tre år gamle. Jeg ved ikke hvilken type - DDR eller hvad det nu hedder.
På fx Bærbar.com kan jeg finde RAM, men hvilken type skulle jeg i så fald bestille? Jeg kan fx se at jeg kan få 1 GB DDR2 PC5300 SODIMM til 172 kr. Men det virker skørt, når der er 4 i forvejen? Er det mon i 4 blokke i deres maskiner?
Det er højst sandsynligt 2x2GB ram der sidder i de maskiner. Hvis de er 3 år gamle er det nok også sandsynligt at det er max mængde ram bundkortet understøtter.
Jo, jeg vil udskifte dem, hvis maskinerne blev lidt hurtigere! Ved at det primært er processer og skærmkort der kan øge hastigheden, men det er jo ikke til at skifte i en bærbar. Drengene er nødt til at skrue ned for grafikmulighederne i fx WOW
Hvis man nu kunne udskifte til 2x4GB til en ok pris og det ville batte noget, ville jeg overveje det?
Jeg kan ikke se på maskinen om det er blokke på 2 eller 4 og jeg kan ikke lige finde et sted på nettet, hvor man kan købe andet end 1GB blok!
Ekstra ram vil ikke gøre det store i wow. PT findes der kun en 32 bit client til wow og det gør bla at det ikke udnytter over 4gb ram. Der er en 64 bit client på vej, men som du beskriver problemet lyder det ikke til at en smule ekstra ram vil hjælpe. Det er grafik kortet der halter..
Sørg for at de har Shadows slået fra eller stillet så lavt som muligt i wow. Det er en af de settings der virkeligt trækker tænder ud.
Hent Speccy http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download så kan du se hvad der er af hardware i maskinen. Så kan vi også kigge på bundkortet om det overhovedet understøtter mere ram.

Det er jo nok fordi man skal give dem til dem der hjælper en ikke. Husk det til en anden gang du opretter tråde. Er det bevidst du tager point tilbage vil du måske på et tidspunkt ikke få hjælpen mere.Og det vil jo være ærgerligt ikke? Der er nogle der går mere op i point end jeg gør.
