Last year french scientist did an extremely interesting find: a human skull, which is 7 million years old. The skull was found in the suthern part of Sahara, an area which was vigorous and well-wooded at the time where the skull’s owner lived. You have found fossils that is 6 million years old, which show first signs of human descent, but further back in time you only know little about the human development. Despite of the fact that the lastest find has a quite few human-like features, more findings are needed, for the scientist to reject for sure the theory about us descending from the apes.
