The best trouble shooting options for it is to ensure you are not using any kind of USB to PS/2 converter on the cables to the computers. Not all mice and keyboards support a conversion of the interface. Also, try swapping ports and cables and see if you get the same results.

Do not use any kind of USB or PS/2 extension cables on the unit either. Also make sure you are using the KVM cables intended for use with this switch. It may not work with third party cables. What is the model number of the cables that you have going from t he switch to the computers?

You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the mouse and keyboard drivers, preferably allowing the operating system to install generic drivers for them.

Try disconnecting all the cables and shut down all of the computers and try reinstalling the switch as if it was a first install.
