Problem connecting with Toad

Hello!

I got an new computer at my work.

I hope that I can get some help, since I do not see what I'm doing wrong.

I got Toad for Oracle 8.6.1 and I also installed OracleClient11g.

I have copied my old tnsnames.ora to my new computer.

In toad I can select the databases from tnsnames.ora so it seems right.

But when I push connect nothing happens. No error no nothing.

From within TNSNames Editor in toad all TNSPing fails.
A ping from a cmd to a host works. (and toad at my old computer works)

I do this very seldom, but do you think I have missed some step in my set up?
