NOTE: You must already have Sony CD Right! 1.1 installed on your system when you download the 1.5 update installer. If the installer does not detect Sony CD Right! 1.1, then the installation of 1.5 will abort.

This utility will update the following models to Version 3.30 firmware:

SDT-5000, SDT-5000/BM, SDT-5000/L, SDT-5000/M, SDK-5000/M, SDT-S5000/L, SDT-S5000/M.

Note: This utility will only update from Version 3.26 and above. If you have an earlier version than 3.26, please contact Sony Technical Support at 800-597-5649 for a firmware update tape. Please check with your Tape Backup software manufacturer to see if this firmware update is compatible with your Tape Backup software.
