OKAY så langt så godt...Nu har jeg fået hjælp af Sierra, så nu får jeg ikke \'blå\' skræm mere...
For en god ordens skyld paster jeg Sierras hjælp ind her :

At 12/28/2000 02:30 PM we wrote - To solve this you will need to add
a line to your drvmap.txt file located in the Sierra folder.
-Double click on the My Computer icon, then locate and double click
on the Sierra folder.
-Locate the Half-Life folder and double click on it. Then locate
the gldrv folder and double click on it.
-Double click on the drvmap.txt file. If asked with which program
to open with, choose Notepad.
-Locate the line that says: 3dfxgl.dll 3Dfx Mini Driver.
-Add gldrv/ to the front of the line so that the line reads:
gldrv/3dfxgl.dll 3Dfx Mini Driver
-Close the window making sure to save the changes. You can now
choose OpenGL and use the MiniGl option.
Note: It is highly recommended for Voodoo 3 and Voodoo 5 users to
install the latest MiniGL 1.48 update. This is located on
3dfxgamers.com website at:
http://www.3dfxgamers.com/view.asp?IOID=28This will give the best compatibilty and performance for Half-Life.
At 12/30/2000 09:14 AM we wrote - For the best performance with
video cards based on the TNT/TNT 2/GeForce 256 chipsets install the
latest reference driver\'s from the Nvidia website. You can download
the installer from here:
http://www.nvidia.com/Products.nsf/htmlmedia/software_drivers.htmlClick Yes to the license agreement and then click the link for the
Detonator Drivers.
You should be able to run this game under Software, Direct3D and
OpenGL.
In addition, use the following website for help setting tweaks in
the game to improve the picture quality/performance:
http://www.tweak3d.netThis contains Windows tweaks as well as various tweaks for games
using the Quake/Quake2 engine (including Half-Life).
Half-Life: CounterStrike requires that you have 400 MB free on your
destination installation drive before installing the game. It is
also recommended that you run Scandisk and Disk Defragmenter on all
hard drives before installing.
If you have previously installed the game uninstall it by running
Sierra Utilities and choosing Uninstall. Then open an MSDOS Prompt
window. To do this click on the start button and then click on run.
In the open window type command then click the OK button. Then in
the MSDOS window type:
CD\\WINDOWS\\TEMP (and press the ENTER key)
DEL *.* (and press ENTER)
(say yes to delete all files)
CD\\SIERRA (and press ENTER)
DELTREE COUNTE~1 (and press ENTER)
(say yes to delete the directory and all its contents)
EXIT (and press ENTER to close the window)
1. Click on the start button and then click on run. In the open
window type msconfig and click the OK button. This will open the
System Configuration Utility window. Click on the General Tab.
Under Selective Startup, uncheck Process Config.Sys file and Process
Autoexec.bat file. Then click on Apply and then click on OK. When
prompted to restart windows, click on the OK button.
2. Once the computer has restarted, make sure there are no other
programs running in Windows 98/ME. To make sure there are no other
programs running:
Hold down the CTRL and ALT keys and press the DEL key. This will
bring up a Close Program Box. The Close Program Box will show the
currently running programs.
The only programs we want listed in the task list are the Explorer
and Systray (if you have it). If there are other programs in the
task list highlight one of them and click on the End Task button.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the only programs listed in the Close
Program Box are the Explorer and Systray. NOTE: some programs
cannot be shut down using these steps. You will need to shut down
those programs according to the instructions specific to those
programs.
3. Once the Explorer and Systray are the only programs in the Close
Program Box start the install for Half-Life.

Kan det nu også passe ?
