Monitor Problem

Jeg har et problem med min monitor, lige nu køre den med 1600*1200 med 60Hz, men den kan køre 1600*1200 med 75Hz, det kan den under windows, så det burde den jo også kunne under Debian GNU/Linux. Jeg har prøvet at være inde configure i XF86Config-4, men unden held. Jeg har også prøvet at trykke Ctrl+Alt+"+/-" for at ændre på opløsningen, men her har den skåret noget af skærmbillede væk, så man ikke kunne se det, prøvede at rette det med at stille på skærmen, men det kunne ikke lade sig gøre.
Min skærm er en Samsung SyncMaster 957mb
