Hi everyone,
I can't get my Asus z170 Deluxe to recognize my Intel SSD 750 PCIe 1,2Tb
My setup is:
Asus Z170-Deluxe with a Samsung 950 256Gb m.2 on the mobo for system.
I'm running the newest Asus mobo firmware 1702
CPU: Intel i7 6700
GPU: Asus Geforce GTX980Ti Strix in the PCIe16_1
Storage: 4x3Tb Seagate Baracuda in P3,P4,E1 and E2 sata ports. They are software RAID 0 in windows.
The Intel SSD750 is in the PCIe 16_3 slot. I want to use it as a fast data drive and NOT for boot.
Just a fair warning. I'm a complete newb at this. This is my first build, and I put it together with info I got from around the web.
Anyway, the mobo doesn't seem to recognize the Intel SSD anywhere. Do I need the Hyperkit that comes with the mobo or what? I just plugged it in the PCIe slot. But there are no places to plug anything in from the hyperkit on the SSD.
Maybe I have the wrong settings somewhere in the bios or something?
Hoping someone can help? -right now I'm not really getting anywhere.
