Check at din service er sat til at starte efter genstart af server.
gå i services -> find oracleserviceopgaverserver - sæt den til autostart

Check at din database er sat til at starte automatisk når din service er startet.
Gøres ved at starte regedit og gå til HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\KEY_<homenavn> og finde den key der hedder ORA_opgaveserver_AUTOSTART - check at den står til true

Check din alert.log som formenligt ligger i C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\admin\opgaverserver\bdump - hvad står der i bunden af den ?

jeg har søgt hele drevet igennem, og jeg har desværre ingen alert.log ?

Den hedder nok alert_opgaveserver.log - så søg efter det. Filen ligger i det directory som du har sat background_dump_dest til.

det må være noget default.. mindes det i hvert fald ikke :)

nå ok... det er fordi du ikke har lagt din sid ind i listener.ora

Gå til C:\ORACLE\PRODUCT\10.2.0\DB_1\NETWORK\ADMIN og se om du har en listener.ora ?

Ellers så brug din network assistant til at tilføje din SID. Den skal se ud ala det her:

det har dog desværre ikke afhjulpet problemet. den ene database har den samme fejl, mens den anden nu skriver "Status  Failed

øhh ? Har du mere end 1 database ? Du har indtil nu kun fortalt om SID:opgaveserver

altså har bare prøvet at installere én til, fordi den anden gik i kuk.. men gik så også gal ved genstart. opgaveserver er den nyeste.. bare jeg kan få en af dem til at køre er jeg godt tilfreds :)

undre mig egenligt lidt over du har fået lov at lave en SID på over 8 tegn ...

har du prøvet at vende din server nu - efter du har ændret listener?

Prøv at genstarte db control og prøv igen.

Det er sikkert fordi din db control forsøger at connecte til databasen inden den er kommet op. Services starter bare op uden dependencies.

du kan evt. sætte db control til manuel og så starte den op så snart alle services siger de er startet.

Næh - jeg tror du er i mål..

"ORA-01034: ORACLE not available" må komme fra den database du ikke har startet, da din alert_opgaveserver.log siger din database kører fint.

Din database virker fint - det er kun din db console der ikke kan starte ordenligt op fordi den har sit repository i samme database.

Prøv lige i en cmd prompt at skrive:

så kører din database ikke! Så skal du forfra og checke at din service er startet + at registry parameret er sat til autostart + at din alert.log fortæller at databasen er "open.

Jeg siger tak for hjælpen i hvert fald.. må se om jeg kan finde nogen, der gider løbe det igennem.. bare smid et svar, for der er nok ikke nogen, der har mere kvalificerede bud end du...

Men hvis jeg lige må spørge til: "Din database virker fint - det er kun din db console der ikke kan starte ordenligt op fordi den har sit repository i samme database."

Er det noget jeg så kan ændre, hvis jeg for 10. gang afinstallere og installerer igen.. ? Er det en setting, noget jeg kan ændre før genstart eller hvorn ? forstod ikke lige delen med repository i samme database :)

Oracle er faktisk ganske simpelt - men det kræver en del indsigt og forståelse at komme ind i det. Jeg har arbejdet med det i 9 år fuldtids nu..

dbconsole bruger tabeller i databasen til at starte op. Men da din database ligger på samme maskine og ikke er startet når din dbconsole forsøger at starte, kan den naturligvis ikke starte op og vil fejle.

I vores setup her har vi 45 databaser fordelt over en masse servere. Jeg har så en database dedikeret til at tage sig af overvågning og administration.

Jeg ville nok starte med at få din database til at køre som den skal og så glemme alt om dbconsole. Tror det er den der forvirer dig.

mkay men kan jo bare slet ikke få forbindelse til databasen? ja har desværre kun mulighed for én server, der trækker ALT :p

prøv lige at genstarte din service oracleserviceopgaveserver og send mig de sidste 10 linier fra din alert.log

jeg tror ikke din autostart er sat i registry - har du testet det ?

ellers så check om du får fejl i din oradim.log fil - ligger i  C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\database

altså den autogenstart som du referede til i starten er sat til true ja.

Cause

Bug 4598734 'NET START ORACLESERVICESID' FAILS TO START THE DATABASE ON 10.1.0.4
Solution

The fix for bug 4598734 has been included in Database Server patchset ver. 10.1.0.5 and in Server patchset ver. 10.2.0.2, respectively.

 

If running Database Server ver. 10.1, apply Server patchset ver. 10.1.0.5 / Windows 32-bit to implement the fix.
Server patchset ver. 10.1.0.5 can be downloaded in Metalink with patch number 4505133.

 

If running Database Server ver. 10.2, apply Server patchset ver. 10.2.0.2 / Windows 32-bit to implement the fix.
Server patchset ver. 10.2.0.2 can be downloaded in Metalink with patch number 4547817.
