samba fucker
Ok samba har kørt uden problemer i lang tid nu... men nu har jeg reinstalleret windows.. og samba begynder at fucke jeg har på linux maskinen (mandrake 8.1) logget ind som root og adduser thomas1.... og i windows xp skrevet mit bruger navn til thomas1... men jeg har stadigvæk kun guest accecc til linux maskinen ??? hvad gør jeg galt

Kunne du eventuelt poste din smb.conf? Det lyder jo umiddelbart som et problem med klienten, men man ved jo aldrig. Mvh. Sune

noem: Åbn din /etc/samba/passwd fil... (Husk det skal være den til samba) Her finder du brugeren, og SLETTER den. Opret den igen. Det er fordi den laver et eller andet maskin ID check...

smbusers filen indeholder kun disse 3 linjer bruger thomas1 er ikke oprettet, men det har virket før ???? men hvis brugern skal oprettet i filen hvad skal jeg så kalde den ? thomas1 = user # Unix_name = SMB_name1 SMB_name2 ... root = administrator admin nobody = guest pcguest smbguest

for at få samba kommandoerne listet, så prøv at skrive smb + "tab-tast". Så får du alle kommandoer der starter med smb... Find den der ligner noget med adduser... skriv: smbuser (eller hvad den hedder) thomas1 (brugeren skal være oprettet på linux) Herefter skal du så angive et password.. 2 gange det samme. Så skulle det spille. Ellers skal man igang med at lave maschine accounts... Det har jeg for en sikkerhedsskyld gjort.

hmm har fundet fejlen... det er maskinen der skal hedder thomas1 ikke brugern :) Og a en eller anden mystisk oversag skal der ikke oprettet bruger i samba ?? nå men nu virker det tak for hjælpen
