Bad Sector/english

If I find a bad sector when running a scan test, how do I get round it - or how do I solve it?

hjust have scandisk do what it wants to.. that sector will not be used again.
If you hbegin to get a lot of those, consider trashing the entire disk.

Basically, if I knew how to repair the damn sector I wouldn't have asked the question on this forum which is for people who have computer-related problems and haven't the knowledge to solve those problems themselves.

If everyone knew the answers to their own problems, there wouldn't be a need for this forum - would there?

Run ScanDisk, select your drive(s) and then select "Complete" (Fuldstændig) then click "Start"

Do you still have warrenty? Usually you have up to 3 years guarantee against disk problems- this includes bad sectors/clusters. Go to the store where you bought it and tell them about your problem. You should get a new hdd in return. Bad cluster problems always get worse.

Ok. These are all helpful answers. So I've had to split up the lowly points I'm afraid.
