mysql forbindelse på debian server - k

jeg har problemer med mysql server i debian

Det er til mine cms sider i oscommerce og postnuke samt e107.

jeg har forsøgt at oprette brugere med adgang til mysql databaser.
hefra http://mydebian.blogdns.org/?cat=31
Så har jeg importereet mine gamle database filer xxx.sql og de vises fint med deres tabeller.
jeg har rettet mine config filer så de anvender samme database navn og login , men der er problemer med login i mysql.

jeg har testet udefra men kan ikke skabe forbindelse til serveren i mysql 

Jeg kan godt oprette databaser og mysql starter lokalt på serveren

Jeg har ikke så meget rutine i mysql så skal have det skåret ud i pap. MVh Dennis

nå jeg prøver selv at løse problemet - har set at der manglede noget i php og mysql og er igang med at teste.
Hvis nogen har en ide til hvordan jeg tester login i mysql må de gerne sige til. ? så sææter jeg point af.
