Hvis min mobil brugte Symbian så ville jeg - men nu skrev jeg jo netop at den brugte Series60 3rd edition :-) *smiler*

Så kan du jo se det IKKE er 60 men 40 - to vidt forskellige systemer når det gælder tillægs programmer.

Har selv tidligere haft flere forskellige S60 telefoner og haft masser af programmer til dem.

Men der er utrolig få til S40 3rd edition

Nokia Series 40 is a platform for mobile phones based on the same core (Nokia OS). It is found in more than 100 million devices[citation needed]. Series 40 devices all contain ARM processor cores driving a variety of RF technologies, such as GSM, UMTS and CDMA.

Series 40 on the surface appears to be a simpler operating system than the higher end Series 60, 80 and 90 (all based on Symbian's OSes). S40 devices differ from the Symbian-based platforms in that they do not support true multi-tasking and do not have a native code API for third parties and thus do not support installable applications other than MIDlets that are written in Java. It is primarily because of the former that Series 40 appears to be more responsive and faster than other Nokia platforms.

In the past, Series 40 devices have been restricted to smaller displays such as 128x128 pixels. With the lastest third generation of Series 40, devices with resolutions as high as QVGA (320x240) are now available, such as the Nokia 6280.
