windows login script
The error happens because Outlook is looking for Vpmsece.dll in the Extend.dat file. The location can change due to one of the following:
Uninstalling Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition. Then installing Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition.
Upgrading Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition to Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition.
Upgrading Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition to a newer version of Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition.
Open Windows Explorer.
Browse to the Extend.dat file, right-click and delete. The default location for the Extend.dat is:
Note:The Extend.dat file is created again the next time you open Microsoft Outlook, and the Exchange plug-in will be installed when the first email is opened.
Windows 98
C:\Windows\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Windows NT 4.0
C:\WinNT\Profiles\%Username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
Windows 2000/XP
C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Click Start > Run.
In the Run dialog box type:
regedit
Click OK.
Browse to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Extensions\
Notes: In the following steps, it is important to leave the newest value remaining, only delete the older value(s) from previous installations.
In the right pane, you may see two values listed, or possibly all three values. ONLY delete the old value(s). DO NOT delete the newest value.
(For example: If you saw all three values listed below, you would then only delete LDVP and SavCorp801, and leave the SAVCORP90 alone.)
LDVP
SavCorp801
SAVCORP90
Notes: The LDVP value is used for Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition 7.x, and early versions of Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 8.0
Right-click the old value name and then click Delete.
Saa er der en venlig sjael, som der vil hjaelpe mig med at lave login script? Jeg kunne selvsagt tage alle klienterne manuelt - men det ville blive en stoerre affaere :-)
