Running script/custom action in Outlook rules
Not sure if this should be here or in Programming, but here goes...
I'd like to use Outlook's ability to run a script/custom action under its rules wizard. It's on the second page towards the bottom of the wizard when it asks you "What do you want do with the message?". Anybody know how I can get that set up?
I've tried creating a Macro in hopes that it would show up in the list without any luck. I have a feeling that the cutom action is through a DLL...
An alternative answer would be specific links where I can read-up on the subject.
As always with me, the answers may be in Danish :-)
Hvis du ønsker at køre et script(VBA) når en ankommet mail opfylder bestemt betingelser, så skal du blot skrive en procedure i VBA. Det eneste krav til denne procedure, er at den skal have en input parameter.
Prøv for eksempel at indsætte følgende kode stump i vba:
Sub newMailHasArrived(item As MailItem) MsgBox "En ny mail er ankommet :-)" End Sub
Herefter vil du kunne vælge denne procedure i guiden regler.
Du skal også lige markere mit navn ude i boksen til venstre.
