How to connect this old printer to a LAN?
Hello,I found this old printer in my basement.
https://www.cnet.com/products/samsung-ml-1750-printer-monochrome-laser-series/
Since it still works fine I think it is a waste not to use it.
But I would like to put it in my basement since the basement is a good place for it.
In the basement I have access to Wi-Fi and also a Rj45 socket on a Wi-Fi extender plug.
But how can I connect the printer to my LAN in a pretty cheap way?
I guess the printer is supposed to be connected to a computer.
But is there a way to use it as a network printer?
The printer got a usb-B port but I guess hook it upp with a Wi-Fi adapter or a usb-to-rj45

... will not work since I guess the printer use some protocol intend to work between a computer and a printer over usb?
Could the use of a raspberry pi be a good idea? I think like this: printer via usb to raspberry pi to Wi-Fi.
What do you think guys, is it possible?
Best regards
